No obligations, we’ll help you estimate fuel, emissions, and cost-saving potential with our solar solutions.

The project ‘PV Systems for Seagoing Vessels’ focuses on the development and demonstration of an innovative Solar Deck solution. This project is co-funded by the European Union through the Just Transition Fund (JTF).

WEstack is a modular marine battery system that provides reliable onboard electrical power for vessels. Designed for demanding maritime environments, it stores and supplies energy safely and efficiently, reducing generator runtime while improving comfort on board. Its compact, scalable design allows easy integration into a wide range of vessels.

The system delivers a predictable payback time of approximately 3 years. This is primarily driven by optimising the generator, resulting in lower fuel consumption and less CO2 emissions.

Designed for fast and straightforward installation on deck, the system can typically be installed and commissioned within 1–3 days. This minimises downtime and enables seamless integration into maritime operations.
The modular design allows the battery bank to be expanded as energy requirements evolve. Additional battery units can be added at a later stage, providing flexibility in system scaling without the need for major modifications.
The battery system combines passive and active safety features to ensure reliable operation in marine environments. Integrated fire suppression provides passive protection, while advanced multi-sensor monitoring continuously manages the system to prevent unsafe conditions.
With the battery system onboard, shore power is no longer required during port stays. This eliminates the need for handling cables and connections, providing a simpler, safer, and more convenient onboard experience.
Before we dive into details, we like to begin with a personal meeting. It’s an opportunity to discuss your needs, vision, share ideas, and explore how we can collaborate.
After our introduction, we review your vessel’s power consumption profile and operational data. This helps us understand your ship’s profile and energy requirements, so we can tailor the right solution for you.
Based on your vessel and operational data, we develop a tailored plan outlining the best strategies, technologies, or optimizations for your needs. We present it clearly, highlighting benefits, cost savings, and environmental impact.
Once the plan is approved, we provide installation, integration, and operational changes. We stay engaged with continuous support and monitoring to ensure your solution delivers maximum efficiency and long-term results.
